Mohammad Rezaee

Mohammad Rezaee graduated with a B.S. in mining engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Iran, in 2008. After two years work experience as a mining engineer consultant, he joined university of Kentucky in 2010 to work on his master degree in mining engineering in field of mineral processing. Currently he is doing his PhD in mining engineering with focus on sustainable mining waste disposal, and concurrent master in mechanical engineering in field of computational fluid dynamics and scale modeling. In SME 2012, he received the best Graduate Student Poster Award in the Education Sustainability Task Force Contest, and in 2014 he received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in recognition of his outstanding scholarship, research and service at the University of Kentucky. He is currently a member of SME MPD division and a member of SME young leader committee. His research results in surface mining, mineral processing, environmental remediation, and mechanical engineering topics have been published in books, journals and conferences’ publications.
