Nathan DePriest

Nathan DePriest is a doctoral candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at West Virginia University. His dissertation focuses on the analysis of alternative surface mine reclamation practices, specifically the application of geomorphic landform design principles to valley fill reclamation in central Appalachia, through field work and numerical modeling. Prior to his position as a graduate research assistant, he worked for the West Virginia Water Research Institute and the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection.
