Nick Cook

Nicholas Cook received his B.S. in Physics from the University of Mississippi in 2004. In 2008, he completed his M.S. in Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering at George Mason University. As of August 2015, he successfully completed his PhD in Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech, where he worked for nearly four years on ARIES-funded research focused on in-stream water quality, conductivity, ecology, and untreated household waste (UHW). Since completing his degree, Nick has moved on to Oregon State University, where he continues to do research in the resource extraction/aquatic environment nexus with the department of Forest Engineering and Resources Management.
